Support compliance with water law requirements

Support for requirements under water law, including the EU Water Framework Directive and protected area designation.

Maintain second-order watercourses with legally robust, transparent processes

Depending on their importance for water management, the requirements of watercourse maintenance and flood protection, watercourses are classified into order classes: first and second order, and in some federal states also third order. This classification determines who is responsible for maintaining the watercourse.

In most German federal states, cities and municipalities are responsible for maintaining second-order watercourses. CAIGOS Gewässer was developed as a specialist application to support the tasks involved in maintaining these watercourses.

CAIGOS Gewässer also includes an integrated tool for the efficient management of maintenance, inspection and upkeep tasks for companies and organisations in public administration, utilities and waste management.
