Demographic trends

Age, migration and forecasting analyses support reliable insights into population change.

Automated import from resident registration systems

Population data from common resident registration systems is imported at the touch of a button and can be processed further with ease.

Clear maps instead of table overload

Thematic maps visualise complex relationships and provide a clear basis for decision-making.

A reliable basis for decision-making in urban development, planning and monitoring

Alongside project-specific master data such as municipality codes and street information, CAIGOS Kommunale Statistik (KSTAT) represents all data relating to municipal subdivisions. Predefined and freely configurable age analysis profiles allow population data to be analysed by age group at any time.

The specialist application’s data model supports the management of anonymised population data. The solution uses exports from established resident registration systems such as MESO, which can be imported easily at the touch of a button.

By assigning addresses to municipal areas such as school districts, the specialist application provides a population and address model that supports area-based analysis.

In addition to the database link between addresses and population data created during import, the solution also enables graphical presentation using configurable thematic maps – in keeping with the principle that a map says more than many tables.

A range of query and analysis options supports thematic analyses, charts, printed reports, comparisons within the municipality and fast database queries.
