Browser vendors Google (Chrome), Microsoft (Edge), Mozilla (Firefox) and Apple (Safari) have announced that they will discontinue support for XSLT technology in their products from November 2026. This decision by the browser vendors is intended to improve the underlying browser architectures and the security of modern browsers.

To ensure the long-term functionality and security of your systems, we have adapted our architecture so that image processing no longer takes place in the browser, but directly on your servers.

What this means for you

  • Future-ready operation: Your CAIGOS Globe solution will continue to operate without restriction with all current browser versions after November 2026.
  • Increased stability: Moving processing to the server eliminates client-side dependencies.

Implementation and updates

We will provide the required changes as an update:

  • Customers using current versions will receive the update with CAIGOS 19.7.4.
  • A corresponding update will be made available for existing CAIGOS 11 installations.

We are confident that this update will keep your systems future-ready and help make your day-to-day work even more efficient.
