The latest version of the CAIGOS AppServer and CAIGOS Apps is now available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. As usual, the Windows versions are available via the CAIGOS Cloud.
What’s new?
✅ App Adminer: Improved management of user-to-app assignments and distribution of specialist data and maps
✅ Specialist data search: Search results are highlighted more clearly and zooming to results has been further optimised
✅ Labels: Labels from key fields are now displayed in full within thematic maps
✅ North arrow: The north arrow is now permanently visible and no longer only appears when the map is rotated
Compatibility
Apps version 19.8.1 is backwards compatible with AppServer versions 19.6.x. However, we recommend updating to AppServer 19.8.1, as only this version provides access to all new features.
AppServer versions earlier than 19.6.x are no longer supported.
AppServer 19.8.1 requires at least CAIGOS 19.6.x. CAIGOS versions earlier than 19.6.x are no longer supported.
We recommend updating to the current CAIGOS GIS version 19.7.2 to ensure continued compatibility.
Hardware requirements
CAIGOS Apps are only provided for operating systems that continue to receive security updates from their manufacturer. CAIGOS Apps currently require Android 12 or later. For Apple devices, iOS 17 or later is required.
Availability
The AppServer update is available for download from the CAIGOS Cloud as usual. Details of the enhancements and new functionality can be found in the release notes in the customer area, in the handbook appendices and in the CAIGOS Academy e-learning portal.
Version 19.8.1 further improves both usability and the overall clarity of the apps.
Update now to take advantage of all new features.
