The CAIGOS-DXF-Schnittstelle enables DXF files to be imported and exported.
During DXF import, geometry data is imported as GIS objects. The layer names generated by CAIGOS GIS and provided in the layer mapping table are made up of the DXF element type, the DXF layer name and information relevant to attribute assignment. The import supports all geometric transformations and can transform data from local coordinate systems into a higher-level reference system by defining control point pairs.
DXF export enables vector data to be exported from both CAIGOS GIS and the CAIGOS Globe web application. Entire projects or selected subsets can be exported. This allows data created or maintained in CAIGOS GIS, for example, to be transferred via the export integration to other software applications for further processing.
