The CAIGOS Shape integration enables bidirectional exchange of geodata via the widely used Shape file format.
Shape import allows data, including vectors and attribute data, to be imported from Shape files into CAIGOS GIS and stored in the relevant layers. The import usually creates one layer definition per .shp file, including the attribute definition, attributes and data access.
Shape export makes it easy to create Shape files with the associated attribute data files for each CAIGOS layer. The exported files can then be reused easily in other systems.
